Production Process of Cosmetic Box
Making a cosmetic box involves more than ten working procedures. First of all, designers finish drawing and sample making to confirm its size, structure and printed patterns. Raw materials like grey board and cover paper are cut into required shapes. Then the cover paper goes through printing, followed by surface treatments such as lamination, hot stamping and UV coating to improve texture and wear resistance.
Next step is pasting printed cover paper onto grey board. After that, die-cutting and creasing are carried out to create folding lines and trim redundant edges. The inner insert is manufactured to hold cosmetics firmly. Workers assemble the box body and attach inner lining, adjusting the tightness of box opening and closing.
All finished products will be fully inspected manually. Defective items with glue failure, scratches or color difference are picked out. Qualified boxes are cleaned and packed for storage. Every procedure needs precise control to ensure attractive appearance and stable structure of cosmetic packaging.
